Jenny Dubach
Jenny is a teacher in the Bears class and the director of the Berne Preschool. She joined the staff in 2022. Previously she served as a substitute teacher for Berne Preschool. Jenny graduated from IPFW with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After college she married Chris and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for Ben, Katelyn and Zach. Now all of her children are in school and Jenny is pursuing her love for teaching. Some of Jenny’s other interests are playing games with family, coaching Bible Quizzing, cooking and baking.

Lori Sprunger
Lori is a teacher in the Cubs Class and the assistant director of the Berne Preschool. She has been a staff member since 2011 and was an invaluable substitute teacher for seven years before that. Besides teaching, Lori and her husband Curt are dairy farmers. They enjoy spending time with their son Keith, their son Kyle and his wife Loree and their two grandsons Chance and Cooper. When she’s not with her family or cows, she loves cooking and baking. However, her favorite food, Royal Feast Pizza, is made by Pizza King.

Carla Bluhm
Carla is a teacher in the Cubs class. Carla is new to Berne Preschool but not new to teaching. Carla recently retired from teaching at Adams Central. Carla is married to Paul. They have 3 adult children, Stephanie, Katie, and Lindsey and an adorable grandson, Landon. Carla enjoys cooking, baking, reading books, and playing the piano.

Jenn Helmlinger
Jenn is new to Berne Preschool and is excited to teach the Bears class. Over the last 2 years, Jenn has provided child care in her home then went on to work at South Adams Schools. She enjoys being with children and helping them to learn and grow. A few of her favorites include: coffee, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
