Das Märit is a not-for-profit ministry of First Mennonite Church with the goal of serving the mind, body and spirit of our community in the name of God. The 2024 market will be held each Saturday from May 18 - October 12. If you "make it, bake it, or grow it" and would like to receive a vendor handbook and informational packet contact Hazel Lautzenheiser at 260-849-0527 to be included in this year's mailing list. During the 2023 season vendors had total market sales of more than $60,000. Earn some extra money this summer by participating at this not-for-profit opportunity.

Vendor application packets can be obtained at the market information booth, by mail, or printed here. Vendors must be from the surrounding area and "Grow, Make or Bake" the items they will be selling.
Home based food vendors (HBV) must have a Safe Food Handlers Certificate on file.
Adams County Extension Office is offering a ServSafe Food Handler course in April 2024.

Serving breakfast every week
Join your friends and neighbors for a fresh waffle and shop the many vendors this Saturday from 8:00 - noon in Berne.
Waffles are made by our wonderful volunteers and served up with many toppings to choose from. Fair trade coffee is also made fresh and available for purchase to enjoy with your breakfast!
